After My last post I got what I was waiting for and now I can reveal that I have quit my job to take up a new position, why such a secret? I didn’t want my boss reading this before I had the contract for my new job, simple as.
Wednesday was fun, spoke to some nice people at LGF:Skills Week and I’m still hopeful about getting a Games job. Seeing as I’m too old to go back to collage the plan is this, I’ll give myself until Halloween 2008 to put together a portfolio of work that I can use to apply for jobs. If I fail to get enough work together for a portfolio I’ll give up trying to get a job and make do with whatever I build for fun.
So I’ll be blogging what I’ve been up to in this little project of mine, I still need to work out my plan/schedule for what I want to present and how best to do it, but for now I’ll just have to go with watch this space.
so don’t hold your breath.
